“We” are PhD students from the Heidelberg research institutes and graduate schools EMBL, DKFZ, HBIGS, ZMBH, BZH, MPI and CellNetworks. We set up this symposium to bring together students and young scientists from various fields of life sciences in Heidelberg.
We compiled a program covering three major aspects of life sciences, which are cell biology, genomics/epigenomics and future medicine. Internationally renowned speakers will give opening lectures for each session. Confirmed speakers are Andrew Feinberg, Helle Ulrich, David Kirn and Keith Thulborn.
YOU will have the opportunity to present your research to a large audience by giving a talk immediately after one of the “big shots”.
YOU are asked to present a poster and seize the chance of winning an attractive poster prize
YOU will get feedback from scientists with different background and build up your scientific network.
YOU will take advantage of getting together and discussing with the speakers.
YOU will learn from the interactive workshops offered by core facilities and companies.
YOU will enjoy meeting fellow students throughout the day and at the party on Thursday.
YOU are invited to register for free on www.life-science-forum-hd.de, where you will also find the latest information on speakers and workshops.
WE HOPE TO WELCOME YOU at the DKFZ communication center!
